VIDEO PRODUCTION
From pre-production planning through to content distribution, Morgan & Preston can provide complete production support.
Video production can take many forms. It can be a viral marketing video, a television commercial, or a corporate video. Other types of productions include social media videos, YouTube videos, and event videos. Some video productions will require more planning, larger crews, and higher budgets. Other productions such as a crowdfunding video might be more minimalist and economical. Regardless of the video style, it is always preferable to tell the best story possible. From the pre-production planning stages until editing, every stage of production is of utmost importance.
Morgan and Preston is a boutique company helping clients craft unique, transformative video productions in the Asia Pacific region. We take care to always communicate with clients clearly, collaborate as needed, and remain transparent with budgetary itemization. Planning Your Video
Every stage of the video production process is of paramount importance. Every project is a composition that musters the efforts of dozens of production staff to achieve ultimate success. From pre-production stages such as storyboarding, to post-production editing and mixing, Morgan and Preston is there every step of the way. We provide support for all aspects of production, always keeping in mind the unique advertising needs of each client.
Pre-production is the foundation of any video shoot. From the initial planning stages, Morgan and Preston help to carefully craft each client’s vision. We spend more time than average listening to input from clients and really zeroing in on strong narrative choices. With scripts and storyboards in hand, it’s time to move on to the most labor-intensive aspect of production: principal photography. At each ensuing stage, adhering to exacting standards of preparation will pay off.
Shooting Your Video
No other stage of production on any video production musters the efforts of more human labor than principal photography. This is when teams from different departments coalesce into one highly organized entity. Principal photography is always the most expensive aspect of production. This is also when any failure to carefully plan during pre-production will potentially lead to obstacles. Principal photography requires logistics, lodging, location management, and assorted production support elements. Principal photography is also when directors and producers continue to realize their vision.
Morgan and Preston offer complete production support services and we know the process of principal photography front to back. Our production network is complete and we will leave no stone unturned until the final ‘martini shot’ (the last shot setup on the last day of principal photography). Our dedication to perfection is unparalleled and continually refined as we seek to help clients create original content.
Post-Production and Editing
While it may be a relief that principal photography was a resounding success, the job doesn’t stop there. In fact, many directors and producers will agree that the editing room is where the real work is done. While planning was of utmost importance, and principal photography was laborious, post-production is where it all comes together. The editing room is where creatives assemble their composition into an operatic symphony of sights and sounds.
Other key aspects of post-production include Foley (sound effects), color correcting, scoring, and ADR (automated dialogue replacement). This is also the stage where video production projects will add credits, logo overlays, and special effects. As always, Morgan and Preston provide complete support. We have in-house editing suites and consummate professionals who will labor day and night until perfection is achieved. Please do contact us at any time with inquiries. We look forward to working on your behalf.
